This is the cutest thing I've seen for twenty bucks in months, maybe years. In my favorite commie colors: Black, Red and White! Sean is on the hunt for a bistro table like mine (he doesn't need the chairs) and found the little space age-hair doodad table above. Urban's "UO" line also carries a leather butterfly chair for $248. Not bad.
Obsession Dos:

Elmer's Craft Bond, where have you been all my life? I'm making a felt folding screen right now that I gave up on upholstering (apologies to the downstairs neighbor for when I lost it on my staple gun). This stuff is SO much better than Spray-Mat or any other adhesive I've used and is half the price. Bonds tightly but you can reposition your materials, and the fumes, while present, are bearable and don't leave the thickest stickum film on every object in sight (naturally I'm crafting indoors. It's cold in that back alley!).
Okay, back to glue-gunning the black grosgrain ribbon trim...

I was an adhesive spray virgin until last month-and I bought the same Elmer's brand! I fact, I was wondering why my 'can' was appearing on your blog! I agree, great product, but I did get a case of the 'vapors' first time using it. Strong stuff, and next time the balcony door was wide open!
ReplyDeleteOoo...I need to get that craft bond and go crazy!
ReplyDeleteSuch a tease - can't wait to see.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget to provide details and how-to steps on felt folding screen. I have a drum kit I need to hide in the guest bedroom. (Sorry Richard.)
ReplyDeleteMusic to craft/huff to.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you have up your sleeves, Nick.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, sir! Koods on getting shiz done, but don't be a stranger!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you have in store! Love the little drinks table, such a bargain. XO Katie
ReplyDeleteThe UO table is a beauty to look at and I know what you mean about not having time to finish projects because you're pursuing "other projects."
ReplyDelete...is there a license plate frame that says, "I'd rather be blogging."?
Great stuff, as always.
Great news about the spray glue. So know what you mean about the sticky film the other spray glue leaves behind. In my search for the perfect nail gun (electric, not pneumatic, straight head to get into tight corners, reliable and easy on the hands, I finally came to the duofast upholstery stapler. The best ever! Looking foward to show time at your place.
